Yes insurance provides Car insurance, Van insurance and Home insurance. Yes Van Insurance is a sister company of Provident Insurance Co. which has been selling car insurance for over 40 years, so has a good pedigree.
They use a simple form based quote process similar to several other broker type sites i.e Be-Wiser however Yes Insurance have a much better vehicle look-up function that automatically updates based on the information you enter. It is intuative and works very well. It asks some detailed questions which no other insurer does i.e. Body type (box van, crew cab, drop side, horse box, milk float). Though be sure to click the "confirm" button at the bottom of the van description - we missed this several times and if you miss it when you do click it several of the fields are cleared which is very annoying..
Though the dynamic questions are good, they can be annoying as you think you have one question left to finish the form but more keep popping up - however by giving more information it will enable them to give you a more accurate quote
Yes Van Insurance comes out the cheapest of the brands compared (Direct Line, Churchill & Be-Wiser) for the basic insurance.
They offer several other additional products on top of the usual breakdown and legal protection such as Accidental Death cover and Life Support (provides cash payment in the event of death following a road traffic accident)

- £1 million accidental damage cover for other people's property
